With his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par (2007), Aamir Khan became a distinct figure in Bollywood and in overseas too. His direction was admired by both critics and viewers. Now, the 47-years-old actor has informed the media in a recent interview he confirmed that Aamir Khan is Directing Again.
He clarified that he has a story, a script written by someone else and he hopes to direct this movie as soon as he gets free. Aamir Khan is currently busy as an actor for his TV Show Satyamev Jayate – Season 2. Except that, Aamir is stuck with the pending shots of his upcoming movies Dhoom 3 and Peekay too. He further added that, after he gets free, he might not only direct this new story but also produce it.
Talking about his dream project of direction, Aamir mentioned of Mahabharata. He said that he’s very inspired by the epic presentation and would love to be a part of it. He then diverted by saying, if he decide to work on the project right now, it would take him at least 20 years of time to finish.
Aamir when asked about the rumors of him being unhappy with Reema Kagti, the director of his upcoming movie Talaash said that these are just rumors. He mentioned that same kind of rumors was at the time of Lagaan too and it’s the same now but nothing is true whatsoever. He then told his experience of working with Reema to be “wonderful” and he was “quite amazed by her perceptiveness and understating of the moments.” Talaash is going to be released on this Friday.
