RIP to Former Isreli PM Ariel Sharon

The former prime minister of Isreli, Ariel Sharon, at the age of 85 died on Saturday. Sharon was one of the ideal military and political leader. Glaid Sahron, his son announced his death outside the hospital where Ariel was treated. He said that Ariel was suffering from a stoke and had been in come since Jan 4.

Sharon is known as ‘ Arik’ , nick name to the generations of Isreli. When he was a military leader, led Isreli troops from independence until his stroke 58 years later against Arab armies in 1948. He helped to conuqer Jordon and Egypt and in 2005,  forced Jewis settlers to leave Java. His 38 years of military service and governance ended. ariel

In 1982,  when Israel attacked Lebanon with a motive to remove the Palestinian Liberation Organization(PLO) and reduce Syria’s hindrance over Lebanon, he was a defense minister. After Lebanese Christian militias sent into the Sabra and Shatilla refugee camps to remove out the PLO resulting murder of hundreds of Palestinian civilians. Sharon was forced to resign by Prime Minister Menachem when an Israeli tribunal found him indirectly responsible for the killings.

Palestinians Sharon was a brutal operator to Palestine citizens who succeeded to destroy PLO founder Yasser Arafat which he was seeking for years according to Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the PLO’s executive committee. Arafat died in 2004. As prime minister, he had conflicting periods of his long career. He spent much of his time trying to dominate the Palestinian uprising in the first term at office. Although Sharon’s governance was criticized widely during his career, his legacy has been praised by world leaders for his efforts to peace in the state.

According to the source, in Dec 2005, Sharon had a first small stroke and was put on blood thinners. On Jan 2006,he experienced brain hamorrhage. He was treated in Jerusalem Hospital initially for months and was transferred to ,Tel Hashomer for long tern care facility.
