As per the latest news of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, from the evening of Sunday, rainfall will decreased at Eastern part of Nepal but will more in middle and western part. According to climate investigator Samir Shrestha, rainfall will be decrease at Eastern part of Nepal and increase in western part.
As per Shrestha, wind and cloud that are liable for rainfall, is located at all parts of Nepal but are more active in Western part. In Eastern part, only low rainfall will occur in some parts only. Rainfall will more in the districts like Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu, Dang, banke and Baridya than previous days. Due to heavy rainfall, rivers of middle part of Nepal like Rapti, Babai and other small rivers are more above from the d@nger line. More than 90% of village area nearby of those rivers are totally affected.
Water level of Narayani river is also increasing. The upper level of Narayani river is 7.3 meter but yet it reach up to 6.15 meter and is on increasing trend. As per climate department, in comparison to other districts, rainfall is low at Rupandehi and Kapilvastu district.
