Suzy Walsham sets record again

Suzy-WalshamSuzy Walsham, an Australian, won the women’s event competition  for the fifth time of the annual Empire state Building Run-up on Wednesday. She climbed 86 flights of stairs in 11 minute 57 seconds.

 

Australia’s Suzy Walsham celebrates as she wins the women’s division of the Empire State Building Run-Up. Walsham, who was also last year’s champion, has now won the race a record five times.  More than five hundred participants had taken parts on this competition. While Torbjorn Ludvigsen of Norway won the men’s race in 10:06 minutes.

 

After winning the competition she stated that it was her goal coming there and she is happy to win this race as no other female has won this title more than four times and she is the first to be it.
